    I wish to nominate Glo Carroll of Coulee Dam as the Grand Coulee Dam area Volunteer of the Year. I don’t personally know Glo, but as a member of this community, I was witness to the amazing work she did this summer in the midst of the worst wildfire season ever in the state of Washington.   • Colorama Hoe Down is history?

    So, the administrators and staff of Center Elementary school have decided to do away with the annual Colorama “Hoe Down” that has been taking place in our community for at least 25 years that I know of.
