    This letter is to voice our comments, once again, on the Electric City pathway project. We did read the newspaper article regarding the most recent meeting and were pleased that the citizens are standing up for their rights. The people have a right to be angry because they are not being heard. The meeting we attended was a joke – they only wanted discussion about the “vision” of parks and not the pathway.   • A few of our thoughts regarding the proposed parks, trails and paths in Electric City

    It seems to us that we have a group of council members that likes to spend a lot of money. We live on Sunny Drive in Electric City. A few years ago council members proposed a park on the lake, just below our property, due to opposition they decided to buy a lot – to the tune of thousands of dollars just for the lot. They haven’t even started work on that project and now the plan is to build paths and trails for many more thousands of dollars.   • Challenge to tribes: build a school

    The Colville Confederated Tribes just received $193 million from the federal government. I would like to CHALLENGE the CCT to re-invest some of that money into their future, by building a NEW state-of-the-art high school.
