A cafeteria at Lake Roosevelt Schools roared to life with music, lights, and dancing last this month as more than 75 percent of the classes of 2021 and 2022 attended the dance. As students began jamming to the music, seventh-grader Reniff Herndon took a broom to the floor as an impromptu partner at the Jan. 20 dance in the elementary cafeteria.
