David Charles “Charley” Quill, 66, of Coulee Dam, Wash., passed away early Saturday morning, Jan. 25, 2014, at Coulee Dam Medical Center, surrounded by family. Born July 26, 1947, at the Nespelem Hospital to Jerome and Mae (Carson) Quill, he was the youngest of five children. Having suffered a four-point loss earlier in the week, the Lake Roosevelt boys were looking to rebound Saturday when they hosted the Hornets of Oroville. They got their bounce. Raider wrestlers claimed the B championship at the Washington Dream Duals held in Spokane Valley Saturday. The tourney at East Valley High School featured nine mats in two gyms and a cafeteria, with 30 teams from all classifications taking part. LR was one of four B schools in the Dream Duals; the others being Mary Walker (Springdale), Northwest Christian, and Selkirk.
