    The Raiders won their Districts 5/6 crossover game against a District 5 opponent Friday, and will now move onto the regional tournament beginning in Longview. Lake Roosevelt played Liberty Christian High School from Richland on Feb. 21 on neutral ground in Quincy in the district crossover game where the Raiders defeated the Patriots 70-28. Soarin' Marchand hit eight of 10 three-point shots in the game in which the Raiders were 45-16 at the half. That allowed plenty of tournament playing time...

    Several Lake Roosevelt High School students will spend part of their spring break competing at the state Future Business Leaders of America competition in Spokane. The Grand Coulee Dam School District Board of Directors Monday approved the trip to the state for 16 students. Advisor Susan Duclos, who oversees the group, said students can each register for up to four competitions out of 70. She said the group heading to state has doubled from four students to eight to 16 in the past few years....

    Coulee Dam Police 2/17 - Police assisted with a man who had died in his bed on Cedar Street. 2/20 - An officer pulled a man over near Federal and Midway Avenues in Grand Coulee after following him from Coulee Dam, noting the driver swerved over the centerline multiple times and fluctuated in speed from 20 miles per hour to 40 mph in the 30 mph zone.
