    Sheila and Derlyn Brown are leaving on March 17, to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They will be serving in Cove Fort , Utah, one of the last remaining historical way station for travelers. Cove Fort is located near Zion National Park and the town of St George. Elder and Sister Brown (as they will be known for the duration of their mission), will be welcoming tourists at the visitor center. This will be Sister Brown's first mission.     Six Lake Roosevelt Raiders made the Central Washington 2B North All League basketball squads this season, including an MVP, and the boys' coach was named coach of the year. First-year Head Coach Matt Simpson was recognized as "Coach of the Year" for the CWL 2B North, having led the young Raider boys to a winning record and a Washington Interscholastic Activities Association regional tournament appearance.     Grand Coulee Police 2/18 - The owner of the Variety Store told police that a former employee had told another that if his wife was fired from the firm, he would harm the owner.     OLYMPIA--While the budgets the House and Senate Democrats proposed this week were nearly identical, Senate Republicans believe the debate over education funding is a battle best fought next year. The McCleary v. Washington decision in 2012 ruled that the state was not sufficiently funding basic education.
