    Raider baseball enters the 2012 season returning nine players from last year’s 14-5 squad and hopes to have more of the same success this season. Those returners include 2011 Central Washington North League Catcher of the Year Kramer Carlson and the All-Central Washington North first team player Brady Black.   • Raider golf still on for the 2012 season

    With the recent closure of the Banks Lake golf club, many members of the community questioned whether Lake Roosevelt High School would have a golf team this spring.   • Raider Track returns with experience, leadership

    Fourteen returners, including three participants of the 2011 state track-and-field tournament, bring optimism to Raider Track for the 2012 season. Once again there will be no home meets for the Raider track team. This slight is easily forgotten when compared to the exposure to college recruiters that LR athletes will receive in Spokane-, Yakima- and Wenatchee-area meets.   • Raider tennis fields strong squad

    Raider Tennis enters the 2012 season with 20 participants, including one from Almira-Coulee-Hartline and 14 returners from the 2011 squad. This season’s team is senior heavy with eight turning out, five of whom have played all four years. The rest of the squad is made up of four juniors, five sophomores, and two freshmen.   • Softball team building for the future

    Lady Raider Softball enters the 2012 season with only four returners from last year’s 11-11 squad that put together a winning streak to close out the season. Seniors Jada Desautel, Ciara Nault, and Raelynne Dennis along with junior Danielle Laramie return to the squad this year. A noteworthy absense from the returners is Senior Briana Monaghan, who was a 2011 First Team All Central Washington North selection.
