Raider baseball had an up and down week as they defeated the Pateros Billygoats at Greene Field on March 25, then lost a doubleheader to the Liberty Bell Mountain Lions on Friday at home. The Raider boys swept Oroville’s tennis squad last week up north, and the girls’ squad beat Liberty Bell in Coulee Dam. Raider golf travelled to Desert Canyon on March 26 to take on the Oroville Hornets in head to head competition. The Raider boys were the only squad representing LR; the girls did not compete. In Oroville Saturday a small squad of Raider tracksters competed in the Eagle Home Mortgage Invitational, where the girls’ squad finished eighth with 24 points and the boys finished 11th with 13 points. Chyenne Kelly-Marconi placed in all four of her events, taking first in the long jump with a leap of 14 feet, 8.75 inches. She placed third in both the triple jump and the 100-meter hurdles.
