    Grand Coulee Police 4/11 - Dispatch advised police that that a man smelling of alcohol had been reported as leaving a local business and getting into his car. Police looked for the vehicle but it was out of the area by the time the officer arrived. - Police advised two men that they could neither enter the area by the Bureau of Reclamation administration office nor by the small waterfall.     SOAP LAKE, Wash. (19APR2017) – Two people are in jail today after a home burglary just north of Soap Lake. For two nights in a row, a home in the 22000 block of State Route 17 North had been burglarized. That prompted a Grant County sheriff’s deputy to stake out the house this morning. Around 6 a.m. the deputy saw a car pull up, open a secured gate and drive up to the home. A short time later the deputy stopped the car as it was leaving the home.     Renowned Native American artist and politician Enoch Kelly Haney visited students in grades six through 12 from Nespelem Elementary School and Lake Roosevelt High School in the LR gym on Thursday. Bert Smith, a Coulee Dam High School alumnus, had introduced Haney to Kim Stanger, the Indian Education director at Lake Roosevelt, who helped organize the event.     The Harlem Crowns, an entertaining basketball troupe full of razzle dazzle, came to Coulee Dam on April 11 to play against local players, bring joy and laughter to the crowd, and to talk about overcoming adversity.
