  • Lady Raiders defeat Manson, lose to Okanogan

    The Lady Raider softball team defeated Manson last week by 10 runs, then suffered that fate twice against Okanogan on Saturday. At Grand Coulee, Lake Roosevelt defeated the Manson Trojans by 33-23 in a long game Thursday. Sean Garvin pitched one inning when she threw 72 pitches for three strikeouts and nine walks. Kourtney Harrington took the mound for two innings and threw 85 pitches for six strikeouts and four walks. Cassi Palmer also pitched, hurling 83 pitches for five strikeouts and eight walks.     The Raiders faced strong winds and tough tennis opponents last week, in two matches at home and one at White Swan.     Grand Coulee Police 4/13 - A man on Banks Avenue told police that a light bar had been taken from his residence and said that it matched one seen on his separated wife’s boyfriend’s car. The woman told police that she had taken the bar before separation and before a no-contact order had been issued.
