    Two senior Raiders ended their high school track and field careers last week by placing in their events at the state track meet in Cheney. At the WIAA State Track Meet in Cheney, LR was represented by Senior throwers Katelynn Schilling and Octavio Alejandre. "The competition was very tough, and they brought home hardware!"   • Bus maintenance contracted

    The school district has renewed its contract to maintain Keller School buses and entered into an agreement to maintain Colville Tribal Head Start buses. The agreement with Keller calls for bus garage personnel to maintain Keller’s buses for $850 a month. The Keller School District will pay for parts, tires and oil. The contract covers mechanic time and shop time. The contract is a continuing contract without changes.     Grand Coulee Police 5/23 - Police checked on a report of guns being fired in the Osborne Bay free camping area. There were many campers in the area, but the officer could not get any information. 5/25 - A man who had defecated in the USBR’s upper Visitor Center parking lot was chased down on Marina Way and told to return to the place and clean up his mess. The report of the incident came from Plant Protection.   • Expect short road delays Thursday

    Crews will be repairing potholes on SR 155 near Elmer City Thursday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the state Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.
