    4-H leaders from seven counties participated in the 2015 Washington State Shooting Sports training hosted in Okanogan May 29, 30, and 31st. This training and certification meets the educational requirements to serve as a 4-H Shooting Sports volunteer leader within Washington State. Screened, trained, and appointed as a current 4-H Leader through their local County Extension Office. The participants completed sixteen state certifications.     Grand Coulee Police 6/1 - MPH Auto Repair reported that someone stole a stereo out of the dash of an inoperable car behind the business. Loss of the stereo was estimated at $250 and damage to the dash $500. – The manager of the Grand Coulee Manor apartments told police that he had found what he suspected was drugs while cleaning out one of the units.   • Local Quilt Shop celebrates second anniversary

    KISSed Quilts will be celebrating its second anniversary of being open in Grand Coulee Monday, June 15, from 10 am-4 pm at 301 Main Street. Shop owner Marlene Oddie will offer a special sale and signing of her new co-authored book, "You Can Quilt! Building Skills for Beginners".
