  • Biology program opportunities for LRHS students

    Lake Roosevelt High School students interested in gaining job skills for fishery biology will have an opportunity this summer through a six-week program grant from the Bonneville Power Administration. Those interested can pick up an application at the school district office and must return it by Wednesday, July 23.     Grand Coulee 7/7 - A man reported that he found a motorcycle off the roadway on O”Sullivan Road. Police traced the registered owner to a man living on Hill Avenue and the legal owner a man from Moses Lake. The motorcycle was not stolen but belongs to a person who has a felony warrant out for him.     EPHRATA — A country band with a sound as big as Little Texas will headline the 11th annual Basin Summer Sounds music festival. This year’s event is Friday and Saturday, July 18-19. With hits like “God Blessed Texas,” “Kick A Little,” “What Might Have Been” and “Some Guys Have All the Love,” Little Texas was one of the most popular country bands of the 1990s.
