    Lady Raider Volleyball split the matches last week, losing at Liberty Bell Tuesday, but defeating Oroville at home Thursday. At Liberty Bell the Lady Raiders struggled, losing in a three-game sweep. “We didn’t look like the same team that defeated them in the opening of the season,” Head Coach Kasey Garvin explained. “My girls have been going through a funk on the volleyball court; we’ve just not been able to dig ourselves out of it.” Coach Garvin did praise the effort of two players. “My subs, Rylee Pitner and Olivia Buttise, played the fi...

    The Raiders travelled a long way to Mabton to play a team that is ranked highly in the state ,and played like it. The Mabton Vikings defeated Lake Roosevelt 65-14. “We continue to play hard,” Head Coach Geary Oliver said of his team’s performance. “Mabton is ranked sixth in the state, and for good reason.” Oliver noted a good performance from Jesse Louie. “Jesse Louie continues to run well and is one of our leading receivers,” he said.
