Raiders’ wrestlers started the season strong Saturday with a third-place finish at the Davenport Invitational. The Raiders scored 130 points with two champions, two second-place finishers, a third-, and two fourth-place finishers. Opening the regular season in Okanogan last Thursday, the Lady Raiders were handed a hard loss by the high flying Lady Bulldogs. Edward W. Purdy Edward W. Purdy 86, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, in Spokane, Wash. He was born in Clark Fork, Idaho, February 25, 1926. He was a graduate of Harrison High School, then served in U.S. Navy during WWII. After the war he attended the University of Idaho and graduated in 1952 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He married Helen Ottosen on September 4, 1949, and they were married 63 years. He worked at Boeing for a number of years then later as an electrical engineer at Grand Coulee Dam. A $1 million arrest warrant was issued Friday for the man suspected of the Oct. 17 killing of Tracy Fullbright. Adrian Rodriguez, 28, of Moses Lake, was identified in the arrest warrant charging first-degree kidnapping and first-degree murder. Rodriguez is currently in the Franklin County jail on an unrelated charge. He is scheduled for release Dec. 9, and will be taken into custody by Grant County detectives on the kidnapping and murder charges.
