    The Lady Raiders suffered a couple of non-league losses at the Eagle Holiday Classic in Spokane last weekend. Lake Roosevelt played Liberty High School Thursday, Dec. 27, losing 46-25. Kelsie Olbricht led LR with seven points. LR only scored 13 first-half points, and 12 in the second half. They did outscore the Lancers 9-7 in the fourth. On Dec. 28, LR lost to Lakeside, with a final score of 52-38.     The Raiders won their third shutout in a row, winning 46-0 against the Liberty Bell Mountain Lions at home in Coulee Dam on Friday. The Raiders had won 44-0 in week one of the regular season against the Okanogan JV team, and 48-0 against Tonasket the following week.     The number of vendors planning to offer wares at the Harvest Festival this weekend in North Dam Park has grown substantially from the event several years ago when a community yard sale was its most significant offering. In fact, the list of vendors has grown by at least half just since last year, with some 37 vendors coming to sell their wares, plus 11 food vendors.     Lightning struck, and the Raider football team demolished the Tonasket Tigers in a game that took two days to complete. The Raiders were winning 12-0 in Tonasket on Friday, Sept. 7, when the game was called due to weather after a two-hour lightning delay. He was born in Tacoma, Washington, to Lock and Bernice Riehl, where he spent his summers on Vashon Island at the family's summer home. Dick graduated from Stadium High School and married his wife of 67 years, Barbara Bemis.     Grand Coulee Dam Area Lions participated this weekend in the annual Koulee Kids Fest and Coulee Cruizers Auto Show. The Lions have sponsored a station for the Kids Fest for several years. The Grand Coulee Dam Area Lions was chartered in 1936 and has had an active club in the area since. Sometimes the Lions are not on the front lines or as visible as some, but each year they are active in the community.     When Amanda Burton moved into a house on River Drive in Coulee Dam, she noticed it's a very busy road with no crosswalk where drivers often speed through, very near Lake Roosevelt Schools.
