Trey Nicholson went four for five with a grand slam and a three-run home run to drive in seven runs for LR.     Austin Rosenbaum led Raider golfers with a 49 and the first-place medal in a match March 24 at Moses Pointe Golf Club in Moses Lake.     The Lions Club and Coulee Medical Center are offering a free health screening here Friday, April 11, from 10-4. The screening will take place at Coulee Medical Center using the Northwest Lions Foundation mobile unit. The screening includes blood pressure, glaucoma, diabetes, sight and hearing. The Lions Club mobile unit is staffed by health professionals, Lions Club members and volunteers. The 62-foot unit travels throughout the Northwest providing this free service to the public....

    Bill Brashears passed away in Grand Coulee on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013. He was born November 26, 1928, in Leola, Ark., the second of three sons to Bryan and Beatrice Brashears. The family moved to Brewster, Wash., when Bill was 10 years old. Another move when Bill was a freshman in high school took them to Eatonville, Wash., near Mt. Rainier.
