    Grant County Health District (GCHD) observed an increase in COVID-19 infections on a local, state, and national level last month, the agency stated in a release Tuesday. • In Washington, there was a 14% increase in COVID-associated emergency department visits towards the end of June.     The LRHS Class of 1984 will be holding its 40th reunion this weekend. Friday night (tonight) there will be a gettogether at Mark Payne's residence at 1 Washington in Electric City. On Saturday, July 13, meeting at Spring Canyon at noon on the beach where boats can pull up.     The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce's Festival of America drew good crowds all day July 4 and filled the park below the Visitor Center at Grand Coulee Dam for the STCU-sponsored fireworks off the dam that night. Chamber Executive Director Nancy Zimmerman-Boord said more musical acts got people from all over interested in the festival as a music venue, and the addition of a beer garden kept people in the park.     The Grant County Fair announced last week that they are looking for an interested citizen of Grant County to serve on the Fair Advisory Committee. The committee advises the Fair director and county commissioners on fair related topics. The committee also assists in the preparation and running of the Grant County Fair.     The Inland Empire Barrel Racing Association has set a race for June 29 and 30 at the Ridge Riders rodeo grounds in Delano. This is for all ages from peewees to seniors.     Coulee Dam Police 6/10 - Police received a call from the school where they were trying to unlock a car. An officer told them they didn’t have lockout equipment and they may have to call a company to unlock it for them if they couldn’t do it themselves. 6/11 - The owners of two dogs running at large in the Hillcrest Avenue area of Electric City were able to get the dogs back in the yard before police searched the area.
