Grand Coulee Police 12/27 -The city clerk told police that someone claiming they were a city official told Grant PUD that trees on Partello Parkway needed trimming or to be cut down for the beautification of Grand Coulee. Police spoke to a PUD employee who explained that the PUD does trim and cut trees that have been trimmed before and that these trees did need to be trimmed again. Grand Coulee Police 12/10 - A man was banned from Voltage Coffee House after causing a disturbance while arguing with an employee after being asked to leave. He was later screaming and using abusive language inside a Chevron gas station because of the way a patron looked at him because of the screaming, causing the other patron to leave to the parking lot, followed by the man, telling him to leave him alone, and considering pulling out his firearm because he felt threatened. Kathryn I. Burke will take the bench of Okanogan County Superior Court after longtime Judge Henry A. Rawson retires Dec. 31. Burke’s appointment was announced by Gov. Jay Inslee Nov. 30. Grand Coulee Police 11/23 - Police told a Vancouver, Washington woman they would keep an eye out for her son who frequents the area. She was calling various places in the state looking for him. 11/24 - Police pulled a vehicle over on Wenatchee Avenue because it was registered to someone with a suspended license.
