    Raider runners wrapped up their cross country season at Liberty Bell High School where they ran in the Central Washington B League Championships last Saturday. Freshman Caden Portch finished 16th, just two places and about 15 seconds shy of qualifying for the state tournament, running the 5,000-meter race in 19 minutes, 9.2 seconds. “Caden really tried,” Head Coach Matthew Timentwa said. “Ran a personal best for the year and improved his time by a whole minute, which was great to see.     The Lake Roosevelt Raiders football team met the top-ranked Okanogan Bulldogs on the gridiron on Oct. 14 and lost by a high point margin that doesn't capture how close the game really was.
