The annual Run the Dam 5k, 10k, and half-marathon event is being expanded to include a two-day festival. Girls and boys who will be in 3rd-8th grade in the 2022-2023 school year can sign up tomorrow, for a basketball camp that takes place in July. Signups will take place June 9 at the Lake Roosevelt gym from 6-7 p.m. for a $75 signup fee. All proceeds will benefit local basketball teams, according to organizers. Lake Roosevelt Booster Club will be hosting a golf tournament on Saturday, June 18, at Banks Lake Golf Course. All proceeds will benefit the Lake Roosevelt High School golf program. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with tee off at 10 a.m. This is an 18-hole, 2-person scramble. The cost will be $120 per team or $60 per person (cart not included).
