    Raider cross country runners put some miles on their odometers this past week, having run at the North Central Washington meet at Eastside Park in Omak, and the Liberty Bell Invite in Winthrop. At Eastside Park on Oct. 6, Colton Jackson was the fastest Raider boy there, finishing with a time of 19 minutes, 18.1 seconds.     The Lake Roosevelt Raiders cross country team ran at the Okanogan Valley Golf Club Sept. 21, “always a pleasant area to run,” according to Head Coach Matthew Timentwa. “The course itself is pretty flat and grassy so it is easy on the legs,” he said. “I thought all of our runners ran really well.” Timentwa said sophomore runner Brandon Pino stood out in the race.     The Raider cross country team ran at Walla Walla Point Park in Wenatchee Sept. 18. There, the boys’ 5,00- meter race had 205 total runners. Freshman Noah Hunt was the top runner for Lake Roosevelt, finishing 165th with a time of 21 minutes, 15 seconds. The girls’ 5,000-meter race had 154 runners. LR’s top runner in that race was Kailah Leadingham, who finished 139th with a time of 27 minutes, 36 seconds.
