    Lady Raider volleyball lost to Soap Lake in their last regular season game, before losing in the district tournament to Tonasket and Kittitas. After a 5-0 start to their season, the Lady Raiders have suffered a recent string of bad luck, losing first to Tonasket, then losing team captain Sean Garvin to a knee injury.     The Raiders took on the Bridgeport Mustangs on Friday in Coulee Dam, winning in a 50-3 blowout. A first-quarter fumble recovery from Raider Tony Marchand led to quarterback Hunter Whitelaw running in for the Raiders' first touchdown of the night.     Lady Raider volleyball lost to Tonasket then Brewster this past week, losing their team captain to an injury in the process. In Tonasket on Oct. 19, LR lost three sets to one to the Lady Tigers. In Coulee Dam on Oct. 21, LR lost 3-0 to the Brewster Lady Bears. Team captain Sean Garvin suffered a complete tear of her ACL, a ligament in the knee, in the first set against Brewster, her mother and coach, Kasey Garvin, said later.     Lake Roosevelt High School's boys' basketball program is getting a new head basketball coach and assistant basketball coach. Jeremy Crollard, who also teaches fourth grade at Lake Roosevelt Elementary, will take on the lead position. Crollard played, and later coached, basketball at Wenatchee High School, where he graduated in 1998. Crollard played for a year in junior college at Wenatchee Valley. The Lady Raiders’ win-loss record is 3-6 in the league, 4-7 overall, ranked fifth out of seven teams, just behind Bridgeport (4-6, 5-9). The Lady Raiders play Oroville and Brewster again this Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.     Raider cross country traveled to Liberty Bell for the league championship meet. LR's top finisher for the boys was Kyle Edmo, who placed 12th out of 70 runners with a finishing time of 19 minutes and one second. "I was very pleased with Kyle Edmo," Head Coach Brian Daniels said.     The Raiders raided Soap Lake last Friday, where they plucked the Eagle football squad with a final score of 26-14. With the Raiders leading 14-0 at the half, the Eagles tried to make a comeback, putting up 14 points on the board, but the Raiders held strong, adding two more touchdowns in the half for the 12-point win.
