SHARP Kids will team up with National Park Service Ranger Janice Elvidge Monday night, when she offers “Constellation Connections,” a classroom program that teaches students their way around the night sky.
The program meets state learning requirements for earth and space science for students in fourth through eighth grades.
Students will explore the galaxy through visuals and hands-on activities; they’ll build a star chart and learn how to use it.
The program starts at 7 p.m. Monday, April 23, in the annex at the Grand Coulee Dam Middle School.
The class will last 50-90 minutes.
