Duclos picked for Keller queen

Shay Duclos will serve as the queen of the 2012 Keller Junior Rodeo May 5-6 in Keller. A Lake Roosevelt freshman, Duclos is a barrel racer, involved in rodeo for the last three years. She was chosen in tryouts earlier based on attributes including horsemanship and speaking ability. A champion in last year’s events, she is the daughter of Keever and Jeanie Duclos, of Coulee Dam, and Joan and Jim Phillips, of Elmer City. — submitted photo
