Meet at Sunbanks
Grand Coulee Chamber will meet Thursday, July 12, at noon at Sunbanks Resort on the patio. Call your order ahead 633-3786. Come and share any new news you have or events that are coming up.
Grant County Mosquito Dist. 2 to Meet
Grant County Mosquito District 2 will hold the regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, July 11, at 7 p.m. at the Electric City City Hall, due to the July 4th holiday.
CMC Guild to Meet
CMC Guild will hold its regular meeting on Thursday, July 19 at Pepper Jack’s Bar and Grille in Grand Coulee. A no-host lunch will begin at 11 a.m. with the meeting to follow at noon.
Lincoln Co. Fire Dist. 9 to Hold Meeting
Lincoln County Fire District 9 will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 12 at the Nazarene Church just outside of Grand Coulee on highway 174.
Eagles #2577 Meetings
The Eagles #2577 Aerie meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. The next meeting is Tuesday, July 24 at 7 p.m. The Auxiliary meets the first and third Tuesday of every month. Next meeting is scheduled for July 17.
Free Pinochile at the Seniors
Free pinochle is offered at the Grand Coulee Senior Center Monday, Wednesday and Friday beginning at 1 p.m.
Care and Share Food Bank Open
The food bank at the Church of the Nazarene normal operating hours are Mondays from 2 to 4 p.m. It is located at the Church of Nazarene, hwy 174, Grand Coulee. The bank still can use clean plastic grocery bags.
Library has Friday Story Time
The Grand Coulee Library Story time is every Friday at 10:30 a.m. Regular library hours are Mondays and Thursdays 12:30 - 5:30 p.m.; Tuesdays 12:30 - 7:30 p.m. and Wednesdays and Fridays 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. For information concerning library programs or services call 633-0972.
Local AA Meetings
Confused in the Coulee AA meetings are held on Mondays at 7 p.m., Friday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 9 a.m.. at the Vets Center in Electric City. Call Paul 633-3377 days or 633-3345 evenings. New Hope Group meetings are held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Vets Center. For more information call John 633-2448. These are open, non-smoking and handicap accessible.
In Nespelem the group Bound and Determined holds its meetings Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the Catholic Church. Contact Myrna 634-4921 for more information there.
Seniors Have Wheelchairs, Crutches Available
Through the Grand Coulee Dam Senior Center a program is available to members and other persons who for a short time need a wheel chair, walkers, crutches, canes, bath stools and other items of this type.
For those who have any of the above items that are from the center and no longer used please return. If you have any of the above items in good condition and would like to donate them to the center, it would be extremely appreciated. For those who cannot deliver, pickup is available.
