Kenneth Charles Stinde, known to his family as Ken, and his wife and friends as Casey, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2012, at 3 a.m.at Coulee Medical Center. After being ill for so long, he went peacefully, but will be missed by many.
Born May 19, 1934, in Badgers Pocket, Wash., at the age of about 1-2 years old his family moved to Nacogdoches, Tex., until he was a teenager around 13-15 years of age when he moved to Bellingham, Wash.
Ken was an ordained minister and served his country with honor in the Navy and a short stint in the Air Force.
He is survived by his wife Billie Jo Stinde; brother Warren and stepchildren: Crystal, 31, LeeAnn 25 and Tyler 11. Children from previous marriages – sons: Dennis, Kevin and Shawn; daughters: Kathy and Shannon.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lola and Leonard and eight siblings.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 15, at 2 p.m. at the Grand Coulee Church of the Nazarene. A potluck will follow.
