SHARP Kids programs starting up

The SHARP Kids program announced that morning and after-school programs will start Tuesday Aug. 28.

At Lake Roosevelt High School, the Raider SHARP Morning Program 7:30-8:30 a.m. (Monday-Friday) will focus on homework, tutoring, and organizational skills.

“This is a great opportunity for student athletes needing a little extra time to get work done before afternoon practice,” noted program director Lee Seekins.

A similar program at Grand Coulee Dam Middle School, Pirate SHARP Morning Program will run from 7:45-8:30 a.m. (Monday-Friday)

At both LRHS and the middle school, SHARP Kids After School Program from 2:30-5 p.m. (Monday-Thursday) offers help with homework, tutoring, and enrichment activities.

Student Registration Forms will be available at the back-to-school barbecues on Thursday August 23.

Enrichment Activities such as Amateur Ham Radio, Raider Robotics and Pirate Fitness Club will start the week of Sept. 4.
