News, views and advertising of the Grand Coulee Dam Area
The free concert series in the park culminates this weekend, starting at 6 p.m. both Friday and Saturday nights.
A favorite band of the Seattle-to-Portland area will fill North Dam Park and Event Center with the Pacific Northwest’s seminal party band sound Friday night.
Jr. Cadillac has been delighting audiences across the region for 42 years with their rocking bluesy mix , which means it’s a party at North Dam starting at 6 p.m.
Saturday night, Spokane’s loudest rock band, “33” will blast their hard rock at North Dam, not actually hoping for harmonic tremors on the dam itself.
Like Jr. Cadillac, “33” played the park last year, drawing a younger crowd that enjoyed the concert. By the way, band member Joe Oliver is originally from the coulee. Better help them make some noise.
The series is sponsored by the Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce, which is advertising it across the state and paying for it with the help of tourism tax dollars from Electric City, Grand Coulee and Coulee Dam.
