On Nov. 4, two federal inmates, Brandon Carson, 29, and Wayne Mellgren, 32, walked away from the Spokane Residential Re-entry Center (RRC) without authorization or permission, the U.S. Marshal’s office stated in a press release Friday.
Both fugitives were at the RRC finishing the end of their sentences. Escape warrants were issued for both Carson and Mellgren on Nov. 8, 2012, in the Eastern District of Washington.
Carson was serving the end of his sentence at the Spokane RRC for involuntary manslaughter. He is approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 180 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
Mellgren was serving the end of his sentence for being a felon in possession of a firearm. He is approximately 6 feet, 3 inches tall, 200 pounds with green eyes and blonde hair. Mellgren has numerous tattoos on his neck, arms and chest.
