Danielle Laramie and Tanecia Stanczak were both selected by the coaches to the First Team All Central Washington North Volleyball team. These two seniors played great seasons and were recognized by the coaches for their efforts. Laramie became the leader for the Lady Raiders during the mid-season swing, which saw Lake Roosevelt climb up to challenge Liberty Bell and Bridgeport for playoff spots. Laramie’s serving and all-around abilities on the court lifted teammates and invigorated the team to new heights of success. Next season, Head Coach Nate Piturachsatit will look for someone to step up to fill Laramie’s shoes. Tanecia Stanczak really came alive as the season progressed, becoming a force in the middle. She overcame an early season injury, returning a stronger more confident player, slamming down kills and keeping all avenues open for her team to win. Stanczak’s play at the net filled the hole left from the graduation of Roweena Antone, which the Lady Raiders needed. Piturachsatit said he was proud of the way Stanczak rose to the challenge during the run for district.
