Chamber to Meet
at La Presa
The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its regular meeting Thursday, March 7, at noon at La Presa in Grand Coulee. The program will be presented by Bob Valen, weather hobbyist.
Lincoln County Fire Dist. 9 to Meet
The Lincoln County Fire District 9 will hold its regular meeting on Thursday, March 14 at 6 p.m. in the Nazarene Church, just outside Grand Coulee.
American Legion to Meet
The American Legion will hold its regular meeting Tuesday, March 12, at 7 p.m. at the Vets Center in Electric. All veterans are welcome.
Saloon History Highlighted Next Week
Mick Qualls will speak on “Saloons of Grant County – How Many & Where” at The Grant County Historical Society after the 11a.m. board meeting March 12 at the Ephrata American Legion – 276 8th Ave. NW, Ephrata. Lunch will be served following the meeting for $5. Call the Legion at 509-754-2761 if you plan to have lunch. All members and guests are welcome.
Pioneer Museum Update
The Coulee Pioneer Museum working group will meet Wednesday, March 13 at 1 p.m. in the Art Room of the Senior Center in Grand Coulee and is open to anyone interested in assisting with the museum project.
The Museum’s purpose is to document the history and heritage of the people of the Grand Coulee area.
Memberships to join are also available at $25 per person per year and can be sent to Coulee Pioneer Museum P O Box 203 Grand Coulee, WA 99133. For more information, contact Birdie Hensley at 633-2773.
