Richard “Dick” C. Holm, was called home to Jesus on Monday, April 8. Dick was born to Charles and Theresa Holm on October 30, 1957, in Redmond, Oregon. For the past 54 years he has made his home in Elmer City, Washington.
After graduating from Lake Roosevelt High School in 1976, he continued to work in the local area. Dick had a passion for helping others, volunteering with the Okanogan County Fire District No. 2, Coulee Dam Irrigation Cooperative, and St. Henry’s Catholic Church. He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus.
Some of his hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping and painting; his fondness of the Coulee Dam area is well represented in his oil paintings, some of which he received local awards.
Dick was preceded in death by his father Charles; brother, Michael and sister-in-law, Robyn. He is survived by his mother Theresa; his sister, Jeanne (Jerry); brothers, Eric, Robert (Cherie); sister-in-law, Tammie (Martin), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
A Rosary Service was held at 7 p.m., on Friday the 12, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Grand Coulee. A Funeral Mass tookplace at 11 a.m., on Saturday , Apr. 13, also at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Grand Coulee.
