Scholarships awarded

The Grand Coulee Dam Federal Employees Association was pleased to again award scholarships to deserving high school seniors and college students. Several applications were received and a committee made the final selections and we are proud to announce the winners of our three $500 scholarships this year are Justus Dewinkler of Elmer City who will be attending Big Bend Community College, Chris Crosby from Mead,Wash., and he will be attending Spokane Community College, and Alyissa Canady of Aurora, Colo., who is in her fifth year of pharmacy school at the University of Montana.

The funds for these scholarships are raised by having pop and candy machines on the project that are tended by FEA members and by the memberships collected every year and we hope to continue to support our youth as they continue their education.
