First Concrete Pour at School

Contractors made the first concrete pour of footings last Friday. Workers were on the job on an overtime day as they try to make up some of the time lost when fill had to be regraded. Officials say that there may be overtime until the two weeks is made up. The past two weeks workers have been on the job Fridays, an overtime day, since they regularly work four 10-hour days. Officials from Walker Construction hope to back on schedule by Sept. 1. The K-12 school facility is scheduled for completion in October, 2014.
