NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Grant County Port District 7 has scheduled a public hearing for Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 for review and public input for the 2014 budget. The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. at the Grand Coulee Airport. Review will precede regular meeting.

Notice of Public Budget Hearing and Change of Regular Meeting Time

Public Hospital District No. 6,

Douglas, Grant, Lincoln, & Okanogan Counties, Washington

Public Hospital District No. 6, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln and Okanogan Counties, Washington; which operates Coulee Medical Center and Coulee City Clinic, will conduct a public hearing on the proposed 2014 budget for the aforementioned facilities. The hearing, open to the public, is Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 6:00pm in the Public Conference Area, 411 Fortuyn Road, Grand Coulee, Washington. A summary of the proposed budget is available in advance for interested parties and may be obtained for review by contacting the Chief Financial Officer at Coulee Medical Center. The regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners meeting for October will be immediately following the budget hearing.

PROPOSED 2014 BUDGET HEARINGS,

AVAILABILITY OF 2014 PRELIMINARY BUDGET

FINAL BUDGET HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN a copy of the 2014 Preliminary Budget for the City of Electric City will be available to the public on November 15, 2013, at the City Clerk’s office, 10 Western Avenue, Electric City, WA. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to provide both written and oral comments on the 2014 preliminary budget. City Hall is handicapped accessible. Upon request of the Clerks Office (633-1510) a copy will be mailed.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Budget Hearings will be held on October 22 and November 19, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. and a Final Budget Hearing will be held by the Electric City Council, December 10, 2013, at 5:45 p.m. located at the Electric City Hall at 10 Western Ave, Electric City. This hearing may be continued from day-to-day until December 31, 2013. All interested persons are invited to attend and will be given the opportunity to provide both written and oral comments on the 2014 Budget at said public hearings. City Hall is handicapped accessible.

Grant County Fire District #14 Public Notice

 

The 2014 preliminary budget of the Grant County Fire District #14 has prepared and placed on file for any taxpayer to review.  The Grant County Fire District #14 will meet on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 7:00PM at the Electric City Fire Station for the purpose of adopting the 2014 Final Budget.  The regularly scheduled monthly meeting will follow.

OF THE CITY OF GRAND COULEE, WASHINGTON

On the 1st day of October, 2013, the City Council of the City of Grand Coulee, Washington, passed ordinance No. 1009. A summary of the content of said ordinance, consisting of the title, provides as follows:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAND COULEE, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A MORATORIUM ON THE FILING AND ACCEPTANCE OF BUSINESS LICENSES, PERMITS, AND/OR DEVELOPMENT APPLICATIONS FOR, AND THE LOCATION OF, LAND USES OPERATING OR CONDUCTING RECREATIONAL OR MEDICAL CANNABIS GROWTH, PRODUCTION, PROCESSING, SALES, AND/OR DISTRIBUTION BUSINESSES OR OPERATIONS, INCLUDING COLECTIVE GARDENS AND DISPENSARIES, SETTING FORTH DEFINITIONS RELATED TO CANNABIS BUSINESSES AND OPERATIONS, ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT AND CONCLUSION IN SUPPORT OF THE MORATORIUM, PORVIDING THAT THE MORATORIUM SHALL BE IN EFFECT FOR SIX MONTHS, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND ESTABLISHING AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE.
