Answers for Jesse given
Here is some of the history Jess Utz asked for. I moved here 51 years ago.
Rawe and Rauch now houses All American Spacers where airplane parts are being built. Brown’s Department Store, it is not being used now. The old Wild Life Restaurant is now Pepper Jack’s Bar & Grille. The Wild Life started on B St., now located on Midway, highway 155, Grand Coulee.
The Eagles Lodge is still on B Street and still is being used.
The city hall in Coulee Dam is very old and still is the city hall. The Credit Union used to be an old school house. A lot of the old businesses are gone now.
The oldest building is in Belvedere. It is an old house but used to be a grocery store and gas station, not being used any more. Nespelem has old houses. The older buildings are gone, except Jackson’s Service Statioin; it is being used for storage now; the new building is on Highway 155.
When I first moved here I lived in Nespelem where they still had wooden sidewalks, they are all gone now.
