Hospital board calls special meeting

Hospital District 6 commissioners will meet in a special session Friday night to discuss, in a closed session, to discuss legal matters with their attorney and to consider an employee’s performance.

Following the the closed executive session, the commission meetings agenda finishes with “Board Agenda/Order of Business Policy”.

By state law, special meetings must adhere to the announced agenda, which must be delivered in writing to each board member and relevant news media 24 hours in advance of the meeting.

The announcement was emailed to The Star just before 6 p.m. on Thursday.

To discuss with legal counsel representing the agency legal risks of a proposed action or current practice that the agency has identified when public discussion of the litigation or legal risks is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency RCW 42.30.110(1)(i)

To evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a public employee. RCW 42.30.110(1)(g)
