Eight Raiders make All-League football team

Raider football has eight of its members named to the Central Washington 2B All League squads.

Chance Garvin was named to the second team defense after a season in which he picked off 10 passes with two games of three interceptions. Garvin can return next season and will be looking to improve on his interception count and offense performance.

Three other Raiders were named to the all-league defense. Desmond House and Josh Harris were both named honorable mention defensive backs for their performance in the secondary. Jacob Palmer also made honorable mention for his play at defensive end. Palmer can return next season and looks to assert himself on the defensive line and at tight end.

On offense, four Raiders made the honorable mention list. Octavio Alejandre had another great season at center. In the kicking game, Alejandre made all his extra-point kicks and did try some long field goals. Next season, Alejandre will be gunning for a first-team spot.

Trey Nicholson was also honored for his play on the offensive line. Austin Rosenbaum, at quarterback, was honored for his running ability. Freshman Josiah Desautel had a breakout season, racking up big games and propelling the Raiders to victory against Seattle Lutheran and Bridgeport.
