Chamber to Meet
The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce will meet at noon this Thursday at the American Legion Post to decorate for the Vintners & Brewers event set for Saturday night, Dec. 7.
Ski/Snowboard Club Meeting Tonight
Those interested in joining the Ski/Snowboard Club should attend the sign-up (and pay) meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the LRHS library.
Parents need to attend this meeting with their child. This club is open to fourth graders and older.

Eagles #2577 Meetings
The Auxiliary meets the first and third Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m., during the winter months. Next meeting is the Christmas party potluck and gift exchange on Dec. 17 at 6 p.m.
The Last Chance Bazaar and Lunch is scheduled for Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. To reserve a free table call Margie at 633-3443.
The Eagles #2577 Aerie meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. The next meeting is
Dec. 9, at 7 p.m.
CMC Guild
The Coulee Medical Center Guild (auxiliary) will hold regular meetings on the third Tuesday of each month. The next scheduled meeting and lunch is December 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Siam Palace. The Guild is in need of new members. The annual dues are only $5. OES to Meet Dec. 12
Order of Eastern Star will hold its regular stated meeting on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m. It will be in Short Form and Christmas finery. A Christmas party will be held following the meeting with refreshments provided by all.
Library has Friday Story Time
The Grand Coulee Library Story time is every Friday at 10:30 a.m. Regular library hours are Mondays and Thursdays 12:30 - 5:30 p.m.; Tuesdays 12:30 - 7:30 p.m. and Wednesdays and Fridays 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. For information concerning library programs or services call 633-0972.
Informational Meeting for SAIL
On Tuesday, Dec. 3, there will be an informational meeting at Grand Coulee Snioer Center for anyone interested in enrolling in a SAIL (Stay Active and Independent for Life) program. The meeting begins at 10 a.m. SAIL is a strength, balance and fitness class for adults 65+. This class will be free with a qualified exercise instruction. For those interested please attend.
TOPS Meetings
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter meets on Tuesdays at 9:15 a.m. at Grand Coulee Senior Center prior to the exercise group gathering at 10 a.m. Come and join for the health of it.
TOPS#WA1490, Coulee Dam meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., meeting following weigh-in downstairs in the ground level fellowship hall in the Coulee Dam Community Presbyterian Church, 509 Central Ave., across from the Colville Tribal Museum. TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is a non-profit weight loss organization.
A morning chapter TOPS #WA1554 will be held on Wednesday mornings with weigh-in at 7:45 a.m., and a meeting at 8 a.m. It will also be held at the Coulee Dam Community Church-Presbyterian.
Free Pinochle at the Seniors
Free pinochle is offered at the Grand Coulee Senior Center Monday, Wednesday and Friday beginning at 1 p.m.
Care and Share Food Bank Open
The food bank at the Church of the Nazarene normal operating hours are every Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. It is located at the Church of Nazarene, hwy 174, Grand Coulee. The bank still can use clean plastic grocery bags.
Local AA Meetings
Confused in the Coulee AA meetings are held on Mondays at 7 p.m., Friday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 9 a.m.. at the Vets Center in Electric City. Call Paul 633-3377 days or 633-3345 evenings. New Hope Group meetings are held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Vets Center. For more information call John 633-2448. These are open and non-smoking.
In Nespelem the group Bound and Determined holds its meetings Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the Catholic Church. Contact Myrna 634-4921 for more information there.
Seniors Have Wheelchairs, Crutches Available
Through the Grand Coulee Dam Senior Center a program is available to members and other persons who for a short time need a wheel chair, walkers, crutches, canes, bath stools and other items of this type.
For those who have any of the above items that are from the center and no longer used please return. If you have any of the above items in good condition and would like to donate them to the center, it would be extremely appreciated. For those who cannot deliver, pickup is available.
