Clarification and correction

A woman who called police because she felt threatened did not report that the other party had a knife, as stated in a report last week.

Heather Downs did not know that Terry Jo Merbach had a knife until Merbach gave it to police when they arrived. Police collected two knives from her and a pistol from Downs for safekeeping during their investigation, but gave them back. Downs had advised the dipatcher that she was armed when she called.
