School district personnel changes noted

The Grand Coulee Dam School District board accepted four resignations or retirements and five new hires at its meeting last week.

Leaving their positions are James Caddy, Lake Roosevelt High School varsity football coach; Gary Darnold, eighth- grade boys basketball coach; Cherie Shelley, preschool paraprofessional; and Debbie VanGeystel, Lake Roosevelt Associated Student Body advisor.

Hires included Christi Berry, bus monitor; Lisa Carlson, bus monitor (visually impaired morning run); Sheila Darnold, Lake Roosevelt lead secretary; Tammy Norris, Grand Coulee Dam Middle School lead secretary; and Christine Williams, bus monitor (visually impaired afternoon run).
