The Bureau of Reclamation operates a wastewater treatment plant at the Grand Coulee Dam that provides secondary treatment of sanitary wastewater. The treated effluent is discharged to the Columbia River. The wastewater treatment plant services approximately 350 employees and visitors at the East side of the Grand Coulee Dam. Only sanitary wastewater is processed at this wastewater treatment plant; there is no industrial wastewater contribution.

Tentative Determination
The Region 10 Office of the EPA has tentatively determined to reissue a discharge permit to above listed applicant.
Public Comments
Persons wishing to comment on the tentative determinations contained in the draft permit or wishing to request that a public hearing be held, may do so in writing to the above address or by e-mail to Shum.Kai@epa.gov within 30 days of the date of this public notice. A request for a public hearing shall state the nature of the issues to be raised as well as the requester’s name, address and telephone number. Comments must be received within the 30 day period to be considered in the formulation of final determinations regarding the application. All comments should include the name, address and telephone number of the commenter and a concise statement of the exact basis of any comment and the relevant facts upon which it is based.
All written comments and requests should be submitted to the EPA at the above address to the attention of the Director, Office of Water and Watersheds.

The proposed NPDES permit and other related documents are on file and may be inspected at the EPA Region 10 office at the above address any time between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 5:45 p.m. to consider the amendment of the Six-Year Comprehensive Street Program (TIP) for 2014-2019 in the Electric City Council Chambers, 10 Western Ave., Electric City, Washington. Immediately after will be a public hearing to consider the Six-Year Comprehensive Street Program for 2015-2020. The public is invited to make their recommendations at this meeting or send their written suggestions to City of Electric City, PO Box 130, Electric City, WA 99123 before May 9, 2014. NOTICE OF SALE OF SURPLUS ITEMS
The City of Grand Coulee will sell by sealed bid the following: 1) 1988 Chevrolet K3500 Cheyenne 4WD pickup with approximately 73,500 miles on the odometer, minimum bid is $1500.00; 2) 2006 Ford Crown Victoria 4door without a motor, minimum bid is $250.00. Both vehicles are being sold AS IS and are available for viewing, Wednesday, April 24, 2014, at Grand Coulee City Hall, 306 Midway Avenue, Grand Coulee. Bids must be submitted on city supplied bid form which may be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office, 306 Midway Avenue. Sealed bids must be received at City Hall by 12:00 (noon), May 2, 2014, City Clerk’s Office, 306 Midway Avenue, PO Box 180, Grand Coulee, WA 99133. Bids will be open at 1:30 p.m. The successful bidder will submit payment and remove the purchased item by close of business Monday, May 5, 2014. Failure to pay for and remove the purchased item will cause the item to be awarded to the next highest bidder.
