PUBLIC NOTICE
The Colville Tribes Land Use Review Board will be holding a public hearing to make a ruling on the following land use and development permit:
1. Jimmy Jackson, representing the Colville Tribes Information Technology department has submitted a land use and development permit application to install 10,000’ feet of 24-strand single mode aerial fiber on existing Nespelem Valley Electric poles and provide high speed internet to the Nespelem School and Town businesses. The project is commonly known as the Bunker Hill Aerial Project and will take place within Township 31 North, Range 31 East, Section 20 within Tribal Tract 101-T5691 containing 742.080 acres more or less and is within the boundaries of the Colville Indian Reservation.
A public hearing for the above mentioned Land Use Development Permit Application will be conducted on Thursday June 30, 2014 at the Colville Tribal CFS conference room on the Colville Indian Agency Campus starting at 9:30 a.m. Written comments will be accepted until June 29, 2014 at 4 p.m. or comments can be made verbally at the public hearing. All comments may be sent to Pete Palmer, Land Use/Shoreline Administrator, P.O. Box 150, Nespelem, WA 99155 or they can be faxed to her attention at 509-634-2581. CITY OF GRAND COULEE
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the GRAND COULEE CITY COUNCIL, at the City Council Facility located at 306 Midway Avenue at 6:35 p.m. on July 15, 2014 to consider a petition to vacate a portion of a street located between Block 8B and Block 9 in the Grand Coulee Heights addition to Grand Coulee. More specifically, the portion of the east end of Roosevelt Drive.
At the time and place listed above, the Council will consider whether the street should be vacated; whether the City should retain an easement for construction, repair and maintenance of public utilities and services; and whether the adjoining property owners on each side of the street to be vacated will be required to compensate the City in an amount not to exceed the full appraised value of the vacated street.
Any person wishing to provide testimony and/or written comments for or against the proposed vacation may be heard at the above stated time and place. The City Clerk must receive written comments submitted for the record by 5:00 p.m., July 11, 2014.

NOTICE OF SURPLUS VEHICLE
The Town of Elmer City will sell by sealed bid, to the highest bidder, a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria, deemed to be surplus to the needs to the Town.
Bids must be submitted on a Town supplied bid form and received by the Town Clerk no later than 3:00 p.m. on July 2nd, 2014.

A Primary Election will be held in the below mentioned districts for the purpose of submitting to the voters for their approval or rejection the following.

The registration deadline for online registrations, mail-in registrations and transfers is July 7, 2014. Any qualified elector who is not registered to vote in the State of Washington may register to vote in person at the Auditor’s Office up to and including July 28, 2014.
You can register or obtain registration forms at the Auditor’s Office, on line at http://www.vote.wa.gov, and Department of Licensing.
The Okanogan County Auditor’s Office, 149 3rd Ave N, Room 104, at the County Courthouse, will be open so voters may obtain replacement ballots, drop off voted ballots, obtain provisional ballots, and use the Accessible Voting Units, at the following times.

Ballots require sufficient first class postage (.49 cents) and must be postmarked by the day of the election. Check with your local Post Office for deadlines to have your ballot postmarked properly.

Meetings of the Okanogan County Canvassing Board are open, public meetings and shall be continued until the activities for which the following meetings are held have been completed. Notice of Public Hearing 2014-15 Budget
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Proposed Budget of the Grand Coulee Dam School District #301 will be presented to the Board of Directors for its consideration. A PUBLIC HEARING will be held on June 30, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the offices of the School District located at 110 Stevens Avenue, Coulee Dam, WA 99116.
The purpose of the public hearing is to allow any person to be heard in favor of or against the proposed budget as it is submitted, or for or against any item or items contained in the proposed budget, and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning same. A copy of the proposed budget is available at the Office of the Superintendent, 110 Stevens Avenue, Coulee Dam, WA 99116 where it may be inspected by any interested person during regular office hours.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Verizon Wireless (VZW) is proposing to construct (2) new towers on the Colville Tribe Reservation. VZW is working with the Tribe to construct a shared tower on Bunker Hill, located at coordinates: 48.174234N, 118.942800W and another at: 47.960644N, 118.963403W. In order to better inform the public of the new telecommunication towers, VZW will perform balloon tests at each location, as part of the Colville Tribal Code, Chapter 4-22 Wireless Telecommunications Facilities. The balloon tests will take place on Saturday, 07/12 between the hours of 7am-4pm. The balloons will fly for (4) consecutive hours and will represent the new proposed towers, as best as possible. In the case of poor visibility, VZW will retest on Monday, 07/14.
