7-12 - A resident of Diamond Street in Electric City was advised that noise from his residence was too loud and was told to tone it down.
- The bartender of the Electric City Bar and Grille was advised to turn the establishments music down and that if police had another complaint he would be cited.
7/13 - Police advised a man sleeping in his vehicle that he was on private property and would have to move. The man told the officer that he had no place to stay. He was directed to a campground.
- Police were called to Coulee Medical Center on a report that two men were there as a result of a fight and that they intended to fight some more. The officer learned that the two men, and a third party who arrived later, were intoxicated and had been in a wreck. The hospital had a lockdown anticipating problems when relatives came to see the three.
- A Canadian man reported his boat trailer had been stolen at Sunbanks Lake Resort, but later he found that resort personnel had moved it.
- A Grand Coulee man was cited on second-degree animal cruelty for leaving his three dogs in his vehicle while he shopped at Safeway. The temperature was 99 degrees outside and the dogs were distressed, the report stated.
7/14 - A woman on Burdin Boulevard told police that a person had threatened her son with bodily harm and destruction of property. She didnt know when this was suppose to happen but wanted it on the record.
- A California driver was told that he couldnt camp at the the overlook area just above Grand Coulee Dam, and he left.
- A woman from Spokane told police that a car pulled into an adjacent parking space at Safeway and struck her open door, causing about $400 damage. The other car was driven by a man from Warden. The two exchanged insurance information.
7/15 - A man wanted on two arrest warrants was seen going into Safeway. Upon his exit from the store he was arrested and taken to Grant County Jail.
7/16 - After two reports of a 911 hang-up call from a Young Street residence, it was determined that something was wrong with the person’s phone.
- A Spangle man who was on the grass near the waterfall by the USBR administrative offices was told that he was in an unauthorized area. The man told police that there were no signs indicating that. He left the area without incident.
- A man approached the USBR security guard at Post 4 and asked for a courtesy ride. When he was told that they didn’t do that, he flipped off the officer. Later, police located the man near the overlook area just above Grand Coulee Dam and he was told not to bother security guards.
- Police checked on a report of fireworks being set off at Fifth and Sunny Drive in Electric City. The parties were told to get rid of their illegal fireworks and if police had another complaint they would be cited. The officer noted that fire from a fire pit had ignited grass near by, but there was a running water hose close to put it out.
- A woman reported that she had left her debit card at a store in Electric City and someone had taken it and used it in several places. She asked her bank to stop the card.
7/17 - Police were called to Coulee Medical Center to check on an unruly man who had followed an ambulance to the hospital and had been shouting at personnel. Police learned that the man had quieted down and they left.
- A Nespelem woman cited for drunken driving and her car was impounded after an officer was called to the scene on a report of a fight.
- Police took DNA swabs from a man at the request of Las Vegas police for a homicide investigation.
- Dispatch advised police of a suicidal patient walking away from the hospital. By the time police arrived, the person had returned. The officer suggested mental health professionals be called.
- Police informed an Electric City man that his recreational fire was illegal because there was a burn ban on. Police had gone to the same residence two days prior because of illegal fireworks being set off. The man was advised to cook his weenies inside.
7/18 - A man at an apartment on Continental Heights told police that he had been hit by his brother. Police found the brother at a local bar and he told the officer that his brother had punched him. The bartender was told to stop serving the man and since both parties had been drinking no citations were issued. The man in the bar was banned from his brothers place.
- A woman reported that she was nearly attacked by a dog on Spokane Boulevard NE. The woman reporting the incident said she would meet the officer at the police station. She didnt show up.
