The Washington State Patrol report stated that Justin Jeremy Arnold, 37, left the road on the right side in his 1995 Toyota Camry, over corrected and wound up upside down on the opposite side of the highway to Bridgeport. The WSP report indicated that alcohol was a factor in the accident and charges were pending. The car was totaled, and was towed away by Jack’s Four Corners Service.

Bugs are bad

Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area issued a warning about mosquitoes along the lake Tuesday, especially near Kettle Falls.

“Conditions this summer at Lake Roosevelt have been optimal for mosquitoes,” they said. The National Park Service recommends using EPA-approved repellant and loose-fitting long-sleeved shirts and pants.

“National Park Service regulations, policies, and guidance protecting natural resources of this area do not allow for spraying programs unless mosquitos are found to be carrying diseases, such as West Nile,” the NPS noted.
