Judith R. Bach, 71, passed away in Grand Coulee, Wash., on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014. She was born in Mason City, Wash, on October 28, 1942, to Clayton "Lindy" and Gretchen Lindbergh. She grew up with her sister Joan on the Grand Coulee Heights. She graduated from Grand Coulee High School in 1960 and was a member of the Ridge Riders, Rainbow Girls, band and drill team, GAA basketball and participated in Girls' State.
She married Larry Sanders and had a son Troy and daughter Trina. She later married Dan Bach and Dennis McCrea. She was employed in several different positions in the Grand Coulee Dam and Spokane area.
Judy was known as a bubbly, funny and a big hearted lady. She enjoyed dancing, a good movie and people – and would offer a hug and lipstick kiss to whomever she greeted. She enjoyed shopping and the offer of a ride up the hill from friends. She loved her family get-togethers and holidays and was the most excited to open presents.
Judy was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister Joan Telles and half sister Charlene Giannou. She leaves behind her son Troy, daughter Trina and son-in-law Jim Riley, her grandchildren Nick Sanders and Amanda (John) Hobbs and Shelly Riley. She got a kick out of her great-grandchildren Brigette Hobbs and Cloe Riley. She also leaves aunt Ardeth Jones, niece Jennifer (Jared) Dixon and great nieces Isabelle, Sarah and Laurel as well as several cousins.
A memorial celebration will be held on Friday, Sept. 19, at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Grand Coulee.
