Public can nominate for "highly capable" school program

Nominations are being accepted, from Aug. 26 through Oct. 1, for current students in the Grand Coulee Dam School District’s highly capable program.

Students in kindergarten through 12th grade who are identified as highly capable of high academic and intellectual ability will have an opportunity to explore concepts in greater depth and further develop their thinking and creativity.

Anyone may refer a student including parents, teachers or other students and members of the community.

Those interested in nominating a student can do so on district forms that can be downloaded from the internet at http://www.gcdsd.org, or they can get a form at the district office.
