9/2 - Officers responded to a call about a disturbance on Bowen Street and were told that a man with a crowbar who was wanted on a warrant had been at the residence and then left before police arrived. No threats were made but the residents were uneasy about the man.
- Police were called to an apartment on Federal Avenue where a couple had been yelling at each other over an infidelity issue. The woman stated that she was going to leave for the evening until things cooled down.
- A resident on Sunset Drive told officers of threatening notes being left at his home by a man who had done some work for him. Notes were made on cardboard, plexi-glass and a white utility tub. It was suggested that the man get an anti-harassment order from the court.
- USBR Plant Protection advised that a vehicle had knocked down a speed limit sign about a mile north of Grand Coulee on SR-155. Police searched for a vehicle with damage to the front of it but couldn’t find one.
9/3 - Police were advised by USBR Plant Protection of two people fishing after hours south of the canal at North Dam Park. The pair were advised that they were in a closed area and left with a verbal warning.
- Police checked in on a woman who had given her son a car for graduation but had taken it back after he moved out and took up with a girlfriend. The mother stated that she would give the car back when the boy transferred the title and got insurance. Police told both that it was a civil matter and may have to be resolved by the court.
- A woman on Weil Place told police that her dog was barking and that it was a different bark, not one about a deer. Police noted that there were some deer nearby. The officer agreed to patrol the area.
9/4 - USBR Plant Protection reported that there was a man near Pole Park who was holding a sign reading: “Will work for food.” Police couldn’t find the man but found a sign.
- USBR Plant Protection asked an officer to check on a van parked on the access road to the 500 Switchyard. The officer found a man who was talking on his cell phone.
9/5 - Police found a Canadian driver in a parked truck sleeping in the the overlook area just above Grand Coulee Dam. He was told he couldn’t park there overnight and left the area.
- A man who reportedly was moving to the west side of the street was arrested and taken to Grant County Jail for third-degree malicious mischief and violating a court order to stay away from his former live-in girlfriend. The man had allegedly confronted her over a lawn mower and then broke the side window in her vehicle. He was found at Coulee Medical Center getting stitches for a cut hand and after treatment was taken to jail.
- An Elmer City driver was stopped because his vehicle license was outdated, and police discovered two warrants out for his arrest. The officer reported finding a stolen gun in the vehicle, along with two other guns that were taken for safe keeping. The man faces charges of possession of a stolen firearm, driving with a suspended license, expired vehicle license and no insurance. He was taken to Grant County Jail.
9/6 - Police responded to a call of an unconscious person at Sunbanks Resort. They found a man in his 20s passed out by the main lodge. He was taken by ambulance to Coulee Medical Center for evaluation and then returned to his tent at the resort.
- Police were advised of an injured deer that had been hit by a vehicle near Pole Park. The officer had to kill the injured deer.
- A woman who was stopped for going 45 mph in a 35 mph zone was warned on speeding and received a ticket for not having insurance.
9/7 - A Florida woman was advised that she couldn’t take a nap at Riley Point because the area was off limits. The woman stated that there wasn’t any sign saying that. The officer gave the woman an idea where she could nap.
- A Burdin Boulevard driver was advised that she couldn’t park at the overlook area just above Grand Coulee Dam. She had run out of gas and after she put gas in the vehicle moved on.
- A Pennsylvania truck driver who tried to deliver at the top of the dam was told he was blocking the area and that he should park up by the old barbecue.

9/3 - Police were advised that during the night someone had “tagged” the high school. Police took photos of the graffiti before it was cleaned off.
- A vehicle was stopped and the driver warned for following a police car too closely.
9/4 - A driver got a double warning for not stopping at an intersection and having an expired license.
- Police checked on a report of an intoxicated man at Harvest Foods. He was gone when the officer arrived. Someone had taken the man home.
- Police sorted through an incident on Fir Street where the officer found three women yelling at each other, all three related. The incident was over a relative taking charge of a baby when the babysitter was trying to find out where the mother was. The mother was charged with reckless driving and driving while her license was suspended when she placed her vehicle in front of another vehicle that her baby was in.
