Promise kept

Living up to a promise she made during the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the opening of the Lake Roosevelt School, Sen. Linda Evans Parlette sports a new Raider T-shirt Sept. 15 at the opening of school in Stehekin. Given the shirt as a token of appreciation in Coulee Dam, Parlette, who grew up as a Chelan "goat," said she would be proud to wear the LR shirt. - submitted photo
